  Labour Terrorism
labour says that this country is under threat from terrorism, i say the country has already fallen to terrorists.

a government that doesnt all dissent using brute force to subdue freedom of speach, assalting the defenceless, and attacking those who come to the defencelesses aid.

this government has destroyed all the values i held dear and which i thought were intrenched into british society. but prehaps the iron curtain has finally decended over britain.

i really think that the last election should be viewed as 78% against the government and 22% for the government. labour have lost all legitimacy as a government and a political party.

postal voting fraud by labour councillors
banning of protest in london (certain areas)
now when an idea becomes so dangerous it has to be crushed

its all too similar to the eastern block countries, its time we had our own velvet revolutions and got rid of this dictator.

NEW LABOUR = NEW STALINISM

  Labour
reading news reports (primearily those of the bbc) im finding the labour confrence is becoming more farsical by the day.

first we had our first minister (whether we like him or not we have to conceed that point) who preaches "clear red water" between cardiff and london, telling the labour conference that labour is the only option for wales. my points are many but primarily if there is this seperation why is Rhodri Morgan always at the beck and call of Tony Blair; firstly, with the regional assemblies in the north he was conscripted to preach the virtues; secondly, why is he speaking at the english labour party conference if there is a clearly defined seperation between wales' and englands' labour governments.

now the funniest thing Blair preaching to his minions that "labour is still the party for change" this coming from a party which seems to be having a distinct difficulty changing their leader!

althought i cant quite understand why Brown is in a rush to become leader i cant invisage anyone voting for him. ok ok ill acknowledge he may be a fairly good chancellor (if you dont look longer term) but if he was leader he wouldnt be chancellor and would be away from his main skills base. in my opinion it would have been more benificial of him to take the IMF job he was offered some time ago wait until Tony had fallen from grace and then set himself up as the saviour of the labour party - but hey what do i know!

  Assembly building
i was down tiger bay (or cardiff bay as they prefer) last week in a little escape from the hospital.

so as i do i went to look at the new assembly building - looks rather flashy i must admit but listening to bbc wales a few days afterwards was rather amusing. "a chimney for hot air" was one of the most memorable comments, lots however were having a go at the cost.

now lets play fair on this one people the assembly had the forsight to cap the budget at £60million so we didnt have a runaway costs like our celtic cousins in scotland which has made the parliament building contemptable to most scots.

so lets give credit where credit is due and acknolodge that they did good after all £60million isn't bad for a conservatory!

out of interest does anyone know this? is the new building an extension of the current one or is it going to be self contained new home for the assembly? because there didnt look like there was much office space and given the proximity to the old building thought they might be connected some how.

  Greetings
Welcome back to my blog.

Im back in University after a less than relaxing summer having spent a total of three weeks in hospital, and having one operation.

well what an eventfull summer it has been, 7/7 & 21/7 (why is everything remembered by dates now? 9/11 7/7 etc... what every happened to names arministice day, victory in europe?) sorry i diverge

but what do i reckon is the most important thing - from a welsh prespecitive that emerged this holiday? believe it or not a scottish court case is, in my opinion, one of the most significant welsh development prehaps this century.

http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/4227100.stm the case as described by the bbc refers to the sentencing of a football fan for racially abusing craig bellamy.

Sheriff Baird said: "There is no doubt being Welsh is part of a racial group.
"If you commit an offence and show malice to that group then that justifies
that the breach of the peace was racially aggravated."

now im aware that scottish law is different from english law (which governs wales) but this for the first time i can recall being welsh is legal recognised as being a member of a racial minority?

im ranting i know but this is the point: does this ruling put an end to any racial stearotyping including explicit sexual references to welsh males and sheep? - lets hope so
